Private Pay & Superbills

Transparent. Flexible. Worth it.

360 Citizens is a private pay practice. Here's everything you need to know about how we handle payment and how to maximize your investment.

Why Private Pay?

Insurance panels limit session frequency, dictate diagnostic labels, and often exclude the specialized neurodivergent-affirming approaches that actually work. Private pay removes those barriers.

As a Resident in Counseling, Shay is not eligible to bill insurance directly — but this also means you get highly specialized, undiluted clinical attention without managed care interference.

We believe the right support, delivered well, is worth the investment — and we work to make that as accessible as possible through installment plans, superbills, and flexible scheduling.

What Is a Superbill?

A superbill is an itemized receipt containing all the codes and information your insurance company needs to process an out-of-network claim. We provide one for every clinical session.

Clients could potentially receive 40–70% reimbursement through their out-of-network benefits. Call the member services number on your insurance card and ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits before your first session.

How to Use Your Superbill

  1. 1

Call your insurance and ask about out-of-network mental health benefits and your deductible

  2. 2

Pay for your session at the time of service

  3. 3

Receive your superbill within 5 business days of your session

  4. 4

Submit the superbill to your insurance for reimbursement

Payment Options

  • All major credit and debit cards
  • HSA and FSA cards accepted
  • Installment plans for assessments (3 payments)
  • Sliding scale considered on a case-by-case basis
  • Zelle accepted for established clients

A Note on Coaching

Coaching services are not clinical and do not qualify for insurance reimbursement or superbills. Coaching is billed separately and is not subject to clinical supervision requirements.
